Riverfront Park
If relaxing outside is on the agenda for your perfect day, look no further than Riverfront Park. Tucked away in one of Bourbonnais's nicer neighborhoods, Riverfront is a beautiful stretch of land featuring a section of the Kankakee River, a gazebo, plenty of open space for tossing the ball, and more.
Though part of it is currently under construction, the majority of the park - including its many walking trails - are still accessible by the public. The park is open from 5am till 10pm each day and sees a huge variety of visitors, from intramural sports teams to dog walkers to birdwatchers and more.
