Bill's Diner

Short highlights of Bills Diner

Bills Diner is owned by a local resident who is known as Bill. It is located in Bradley, Illinois and is also what many individuals in the neighborhood call “home”.

Starting in 1995, Bill’s Diner is still going strong 23-years-later--The restaurant is owned by a couple who are originally from greece, and came to Bourbonnais upon leaving their family-owned restaurant that was once in Chicago.

Bill loved to cook and soon realized that it was one of his biggest passions. He chose to move to Bourbonnais because of it’s “quiet and community-like feel.”

“My husband used to say, one day he’s going to make his dream come true. And, his dream was to open his own family-owned restaurant and leave a legacy for our family” said, Bill’s wife.

Aside from Bill’s Diner, Bill and his family once owned a gyro fast food restaurant, that was later replaced with  Biggby’s coffee. Then, they continued on to open a sports bar, and a pizza place shortly after.

Down the road, the couple decided they wanted something that felt more like home and targeted more families.

Sundays and Saturdays began to be amongst the busiest time for the Diner,  with mornings being the busiest time of day.

The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner for the full time that it’s open. The staff tries to keep things interesting with their special of the day, where many customers find “affordable and unique”.

As far as breakfast, the diner is most known for that “large and filling” omelettes.  During lunch times, sandwiches are very popular and for dinner, many individuals typically order a burger.

“It’s so nice because the food is awesome, and it’s almost like i see the same people every time I come. We’ve gotten so used to each other that’ll we’ll strike up a conversation while waiting on our food.” Says, Colleen Harold, frequent customer,

Customers speak on the customer service at the diner as “splendid.” Staff doesn’t take long to cook and present meals and there’s high-levels of etiquecy.

Frequent customer Laura Hill says, “this has by far been my best experience at a restaurant, they exceed every expectation.”
